It was my birthday this week, and I had a very pleasant evening.
A couple of weeks ago my other half asked me what I wanted to do.
Do we go to a nice restaurant?
What about tapas?
Maybe a takeaway?
Well, I decided that I wanted the two of us to spend some quality time together, and their ADHD lends them towards quieter, more secluded venues; preventing overstimulation. They also love meals which are more engaging, where you have to assemble it yourself, and have a mixture of textures and flavours. Something they call ‘picky bits’.
Well the best picky bits meal we have had in the past was a mixture of some nice tinned fish, bread, cheese, and other sides (normally pickled).
Added all together they make a meal with a nice bit of variation. So earlier in the week we dropped some money at The Tinned Fish Market.
Last night, we set it all up, put our phones to one side, opened a fantastic bottle of Romanian wine, and had a lovely meal. Just the two of us.

To finish the evening, I lit two candles, and we sang Happy Birthday over an imitation Colin the Caterpillar.

Then, this morning I decided to treat myself prepare for Christmas, and purchased a 3D Printer (my first).
Expect many 3D printing posts from now on, because it seems that 3D printers and Air Fryers have one thing in common: the people that own them can’t shut up about them1.
