Update

It was my birthday this week, and I had a very pleasant evening. A couple of weeks ago my other half asked me what I wanted to do. Do we go to a nice restaurant? What about tapas? Maybe a takeaway? Well, I decided that I wanted the two of us to spend some quality time together, and their ADHD lends them towards quieter, more secluded venues; preventing overstimulation. They also love meals which are more engaging, where you have to assemble it yourself, and have a mixture of textures and flavours. Something they call ‘picky bits’.

For a year or so I have been struggling with my relationship with my phone. I am on it far too much, doing far too much of nothing. Hours have passed, and I have achieved nothing. I have learned nothing.

It’s been a tough week in the Whittlesea-Clark household. One of our cats, didn’t come down for dinner on Wednesday, and hasn’t been seen since.

Not content with the services I used to host this blog, I set out on a journey to replace almost everything.

I have been enjoying Jekyll, but it’s time to toy with another static site generator.

So, I have changed my name Phillip Whittlesea-Clark. Finally.

I moved away from the branch build and github-pages Gem for this site, and now I have an up-to-date, and more configurable build.

I’ve been rocking the same website since 2013. I created it on the 25th of April 2013 when I heard that GitHub had moved GitHub Pages to a dedicated domain, github.io.
